Patricia is an employment attorney with Law Firm GC. She focuses her practice on guiding law firms through the HR-side of running their business. From employment litigation to general compliance, she helps attorneys and law firms navigate a complex landscape of employment laws and workplace issues in Georgia and elsewhere.

Patricia’s clients range from solo practitioners to regional law firms. She also maintains a niche practice representing other professional service firms in employment matters, bringing a deep understanding of the unique dynamics that arise when lawyers—and other professionals—are also employers.

Patricia helps firms address the foundational employment issues every employer faces, including new-hire reporting, storing personnel files, creating PTO policies, establishing timekeeping procedures, and drafting employee handbooks. As firms grow, Patricia works closely with leadership to navigate more complex challenges, such as employee retention and termination strategies, internal investigations, wage-and-hour compliance, and drafting non-compete, confidentiality, and employment agreements.

Clients frequently turn to Patricia for clear, practical answers to questions they may not even realize they should be asking, including:

  • Is a firm’s paralegal exempt from the FLSA’s overtime requirements?
  • What are the best practices for ensuring staff keep client information confidential?
  • How should a firm satisfy its new-hire reporting obligations or respond to a Department of Labor inquiry?
  • How should firms handle an employee’s complaint about unwanted comments made by a coworker?

Patricia grew up in an Atlanta suburb. She has wanted to be a lawyer for as long as she can remember, an interest her family traces back to years of watching Matlock together.

Patricia received a B.S. in public policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology and earned her J.D. in 2013 from Rutgers School of Law. There, Patricia served as Senior Managing Editor of the Rutgers Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board. Patricia also interned for Justice Jaynee LaVecchia on the New Jersey Supreme Court.

Following law school, Patricia clerked for the Honorable Robert L. Vining, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. As a federal judicial law clerk, she conducted legal research, drafted judicial orders and opinions, and assisted in courtroom proceedings—experience that continues to influence her practical, solutions-oriented approach to client representation.

After clerking, Patricia joined Krevolin & Horst, LLC as an associate, where she represented employers in employment litigation and advised clients on workplace compliance and risk management. She has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2018 through 2025.

Patricia lives in Los Gatos, California, with her husband and their three children. Outside of her practice, she enjoys time outdoors with her family and the family dog, Walter.
